Viviana Ferrari
Having lived with her grandmother as a child, Viviana has strong recollections of stories about a vineyard owned by the family between the two world wars, sadly lost during World War 2. Given her family history and as Kathy’s daughter, Viviana is certain that her love of wine is hereditary and she was meant to be involved in winemaking. As General Manager of Ulupna Winery, Viviana oversees all Ulupna administration, marketing, consultancy, and sales, running the Melbourne office.
Although a vigneron and gaining the WSET Level 2 Award, Viviana’s early life was full of music rather than wine. Pursuing a career as a concert pianist and musicologist, which paved the way to academia with a focus on education, Viviana’s background has allowed her to tackle the wine industry with an innovative flair and a broad, progressive vision.
Also a public speaker and published author on subjects such as business, piano, ethics, cognition and education, Viviana operates the winery with a realist focus on the present, proudly building Ulupna in an international brand.
